This has to be THEE MOST entertaining, sensible and larger than life at the same time kind of car review ever even by TopGear standards. The film starts with Jeremy answering sensible questions a car buyer would like to know about a car and man he gave more than answers.

The whole film was scripted to perfection, there wasn’t a single line Jeremy uttered which wasn’t anything less than spectacularly funny. When Jeremy drove down the tiny Twingo inside a sewer tunnel trying to answer the question if it could go upside down, I thought he was going to cock about it but when I saw what happened I was blown away but all he had to say about it was that if he had missed it he would have been in a world to shit literally.

When you want to stretch the legs of your Bugatti Veyron you could block a part of a high way but when you want to drive down a sewer tunnel you would have to ask the local people to cross their legs, Oh Dear Lord. God bless TG. I am really saddened by the thought that everything has to come to an end.

The part where Jezza crashed the Twingo into a ice hockey player who was chasing the puck in the middle of a match, that’s rite if that wasn’t bonkers enough when he hits the player Jezza comes out of the Twingo in a concerned hurry just to check if the Twingo was ok when the player he hit was lying down. Jeremy calls it a pedestrian safe car when the player gets up and carries on with his match. Also Jeremy answered sensible car buyer’s question of what’s it like on snow while he was at it.

Best part of it all (actually every single bit of this film is a better than the best) was when Jezza answers the practicality question, he opens the Twingo’s hatch to explain that the boot is big enough of squeeze in Ross Kemp who was inside for the most part of the film and his reactions every time Jeremy crashed the Twingo into all sort of things in the harbor was just epically hilarious.

The ultimatum to this power packed film was Jezza trying to catch his ferry back to England. You really wouldn’t want to miss this one guys, truly one of the best.

One last Q&A. Is the Twingo green? No its red!

Top_Gear_Season14_Episode1_BehindtheScene_(11)

The world’s best motoring show is back and is bigger than ever. This season is by far the most anticipated as it was making headlines everywhere it went shooting. First it was the trio roughing up the Romanian hill ways, then Captain Slow getting lost on a balloon for a difference and finally Jezza throwing away a Renault Twingo into the ocean.

Apart from the craziness TG is known for its crystal clear cinematography which is getting more clear this time around as the season 14 of TG is filmed in High Definition. Top Gear has released a tease video with the childhood trio + the small Stig check it our here:

Top Gear studio facts:
• The TG studio set is constructed at the beginning of a season and dismantled at the end so that the building could be used as an aircraft hanger which is what it is.
• The stage , the lightings and the indestructible hilux are all packed up and get locked up
• The cool wall is photographed before tearing it apart and put back together carefully so that the cool stays cool and the uncool, uncool.

The mole as he calls himself is a part of the TG crew and he has given the inside story over the past hasn’t failed this time. The studio bit of the first episode was shot this Wednesday and the mole has given the inside scoop. We don’t want to spoil it for you , so you can either click through if your curiosity got the better of you like mine did or wait and watch it on torrent sorry TV, damn why do I keep doing that!

Miss TopGear? Well here is Jeremy’s new DVD Duel which quite frankly from the trail looks rather kickass!
This is Jezza’s description about his new DVD

“My all new DVD is called DUEL…because that’s what it’s all about. I gather the fastest, best looking cars of 2009…and start a fight. Well, lots of fights actually. It’s all about challenges. I travel to Spain, Silverstone and beyond. I’m joined by The Stig. But we’re not alone…This year I’ve invited more special guests to show what they can do behind the wheel…And that’s not all good news for the cars. Yes some cars don’t survive…but then, some don’t deserve to. And I’ve come up with some ingenious ways to kill them. To death. I’ll be giving you more information in a while.”

The most interesting of the lot is the guests, when he said guests he meant Rivals! Because this time its TG’s Archrival Fifth Gear’s Tiff Needell and Vicky butler aren’t here to chat up a couch and do just a lap around the track but are dueling it out with O lord Stigod and Jezza respectively. It is more interesting since there are rumors that Fifth Gear has been cancelled!

In his new DVD Jeremy answers million dollar questions like, can a man out run an Aston Martin? Or which falls down faster a car or a coin? The DVD is going to be more insane that ever! Its not out in Indian yet but that hasn’t stopped us from getting Top gear has it?

If there is one TV show in the world which has defied all laws of craziness it has to be Top Gear. If you are not convinced, click this & this to see what they have been up to while filming for season 14 which premiers on the 15th of next month.

This time they drove a Renault Twingo off the Belfast dock at Northern Ireland. When I said drove off it wasn’t driven off with anyone inside other than a dummy. The TG story behind this is that Jeremy lost a drag race in the Twingo against a fiat 500 and he decided to punish it by leaving it to the ocean sharks.

Though it is confirmed that it didn’t have anyone inside except a dummy, that didn’t stop people from speculation, here are a few interesting twists to the story:

• It was Fabio Briatore who was commiting suicide because of the recent race fixing scandals
• They were killing off white Stig just like they killed off the black Stig –BURRIED AT SEA
• They were doing a mock up of the 1969 Italian job final scene
• Since the Twingo has 5-star crash test ratings TG was trying to create a Twingo invincible episode like the one with Toyota Hilux.
• Jezza is killing himself and the show

With the crazy Clarkson we won’t be surprised if one of the above turned out to be true!

Top Gear Race gone wrong

Captain Slow narrowly cheated death yesterday (30th Sep) while shooting for TG’s season 14 which premiers on 15th November. The stunt was believed to be a part of the race between James in a Caravan carried by an airship and Richard in a Lamborghini. The stunt was suppose to end by the Airship landing in a cricket field but due to crosswinds , the Airship lost control and crashed into a field near a busy road.

By this crash James May completes the circle of “TG presenter’s spectacular crashes during filming”, previously in 2006 it was Hammond in the famous jet car/ fire ball crash which almost killed him. Jezza in 2008 had a head on collusion during filming for TG but he escaped with minor injuries. But the Gentleman May here escaped without even a bruise.

Now it is highly unlikely that the stunt will be re-shot, it is such a shame that this race would have been a major punch with such a huge red Airship racing in HD. But hey, at least the crew lives another day to bring us more crazy action while shooting the action.

click here for more crazyness from the trio.

note: what’s ironic here is Top Gear always crashes Caravans and its time Caravans crashed Top Gear!

During the launch Jeremy said “We would stop doing Top Gear when we didn’t enjoy making it any more but, at the moment, it is just the most fantastic fun you can have,” Singapore F1 crash-gate scam even came up during his address “Motor racing can be quite boring, if we’re honest – they are even crashing on purpose these days – so we decided to have a race where the cars are set on fire before they start.” Yap cars on fire racing in front of you on a stage!
