The official images of the new Quadro-seater convertible Maserati GranCabrio was released last night. The car will make its world wide debue at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month and sales will start during spring of 2010. The GranCabrio is a convertible version of the GranTurismo coupe we spotted recently in Chennai. A First impression of it is that it is beauty at its best.

Though this is the first four-seater convertible ever from Maserati it claims that the GranCabrio is continuing the Maserati tradition in open top cars.

The GranCabrio will be powered by a 4.2 Litre V8 unit with 433 bhp which comes straight from the GranTurismo S and is mated to the ZF six speed automatic transmission.

Indias got 2 Maserati Granturismos (that we know of). One is in delhi, We spotted the other one in Chennai, parked infront of rain tree. You hear about it , you see pictures and videos, but seeing it for real makes you go crazy!
