LA Auto Show is playing the host for launches like the new Ford Fiesta (which BTW is one of the prettiest small cars ever), Toyota Sienna and the Mazda 2 but all these are totally irrelevant for us Indians but since the Beetle’s going to be launched tomorrow in India we though it wouldn’t be totally irrelevant to report a special and from what VW calls it “The Final Edition” of the everlasting Beetle.
The regular Beetle has a 2.5litre engine which drives the front wheels through a 6-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox, so does the Final Edition. However its gets a full sport suspension and 17” alloy wheels and the special edition paintjob, a mix of light blue and white and black roof. The Final Edition comes in both coupe and convertibles which are priced at $20k and $27k respectively.
