Roller rolled its smaller roller in India last week. The Ghost which is better suited than 200EX was launched at a price tag of very Rolls-Royish 2.5 Crore Rupees. It would be Rolls’s second offering in India which currents sells the bigger Phantom, who’s range starts at 3.5 Crore. When I said bigger I meant “you won’t be able to reach the pedals, legroom” big!
The Phantom is as big as the Buckingham Palace and as British as The Queen but the Ghost could be the Rolls-Royce of the new age, with shredding bits of its British snobbishness and taking on a more contemporary character. With its new led lined head light assembly Ghost sets the tone right.
Though booking has started for the Ghost, we would have to wait until the first quarter of 2010 to see one on road. As it is with Rolls-Royce the Ghost comes with the interior material option of everything that’s under the sky and above it. It is so irrelevant to talk about the power rating and the engine capacity of a Rolls-Royce and I am not going to.
