Mitsubishi has began replacing its aging Outlander crossover starting with Australia. The new Outlander will be available for sale in Australia from the 29th of this month. The one getting launched is the road going version of the Outlander GT unveiled at the New York International Auto Show this April.
Mitsubishi is cashing in on the success of the Evo-X by furnishing the Outlander with a Evo-X like radiator grill. Frankly it’s a mess of a job, since the old Outlander has its own unique styling which suits perfectly.
I am glad there isn’t any word on the Indian launch.

[...] Mitsubishi replacing the current Outlander SUV in various markets around the world, earlier it was Australia, now it is Brazil. Hope the next stop is not India because the new Outlander plainly looks ugly [...]

hahahaaaa…..u r in for a nasty surprise my friend!! I enquired the mitsu guys on their site about the 2010 outlander and here’s what i got…….”Regarding your query related to launch of Outlander 2010, kindly note that we have plans to launch this model soon in year 2010 but the version may not be the same as the one being launched in US.”………..which i interpret as that although we may never get to see the 3.0 V6/232hp/touch screen central console/3rd row seats version but we may get the facelifted version with pretty much the same engine as is now!!
ENJOY!!…..i know i would cuz this one looks more aggresive. u see this babe grinning at you in your rear view mirror, u r gonna crap ur pants and give it way!!!!
