Toyota has woken up finally and realized the market potential for small cars in India. It is planning to up the game with a launch of a brand new small car by 2011. This car will not have much in common with Toyota’s existing small cars and it will be designed exclusively for India.
This new small car is code named 800L and it will be on the likes of Tata’s indigo Cs and Swift dzire. Toyota is keenly looking to give this small car a diesel and make it more tempting for the Indian masses. The 800L will also have a petrol variant.
